Festool TKS 80 EBS Set (10") SawStop Table Saw Set
The TKS 80 is the FIRST Festool table saw with innovative SawStop technology! Every year, approximately 4,000 people are injured by circular saws - that's 16 injuries per working day. The TKS has a sensor which immediately stops the blade if it comes in to contact with your skin to significantly reduce the risk of serious cutting injuries. So while you concentrate on your work, SawStop protects your most valuable tools - your fingers!
- Innovative SawStop technology:
- Responsive sensor - if the blade comes in to contact with your skin, it stops within 5 milliseconds and disappears in to the work surface, so the risk of serious cutting injuries is significantly reduced
Note: SawStop technology detects the moisture in your skin, so it only works when you're sawing non-conductive materials - Intelligent cartridge - releases a pretensioned spring and pushes an aluminium block in to the blade to stop it immediately
- Bypass option deactivates the SawStop function, for sawing conductive materials
- Responsive sensor - if the blade comes in to contact with your skin, it stops within 5 milliseconds and disappears in to the work surface, so the risk of serious cutting injuries is significantly reduced
- Precise cuts thanks to the fine adjuster and locking positions
- Patented splinterguard for splinter-free cuts on both sides
- Fewer splinters on the upper material surface when making mitre rip cuts by swivelling the blade to the left
- Flexible cutting height up to 80mm for larger cross cuts
- Work surface can be extended in its length and width
- Angle stop with locking positions
- Folding legs for instant set-up anywhere you wish
- Integrated transport rollers allow the machine to be moved easily
