2K Etch Primer

• Type: Two-component (2K) acid etch primer
• Chemistry: Vinyl / butyral / phenolic resin system
• Pigment: Zinc tetroxy-chromate (anti-corrosive)
• Function: Adhesion-promoting + light corrosion protection
• Catalyst contains phosphoric acid

Typical Use Cases

• Bare metal prep before epoxy systems
• Galv / aluminium jobs needing adhesion
• Automotive & industrial fabrication
  

Drying / Recoat

• Air dry: ~15–20 minutes
• Recoat:
  • ~20 mins for most coatings
  • ~1 hour before epoxies
• Must be overcoated same day

719 Polyetch is a top of the range, two-pack, anticorrosive self-etching primer. It is based on vinyl / butyral / phenolic resins and zinc tetroxy-chromate pigment. 

The catalyst contains phosphoric acid.
